Personal data requests.
This data request route is for access, correction, or deletion of personal data connected with an inquiry, chat, consent choice, or visit to kzoo.us.
Last updated: February 21, 2025Send enough detail for us to find the record. Do not send passwords or identity documents by email.
Ask for a copy of your data or tell us what needs changing.
A personal data request should say what you want done. You can ask KZOO Studio to confirm whether it holds personal data about you, provide a copy of that data, correct information that is wrong, or delete information that no longer needs to be kept. You may also ask for an explanation of how inquiry details and advertising identifiers are used.
This is the data request route for a small Kalamazoo brand studio. It is not a service brief and it does not start a logo design, small business branding, website design, or brand copywriting engagement. For creative work, use the contact route; for the studio's general privacy terms, read Privacy.
What to include
Give your name, a reply email, the request type, and the detail that will help us locate the record. If you contacted the studio by phone, email, form, or chat, say which route you used and give an approximate date. A business name or the subject line of an inquiry can help. Keep the request factual.
- Access: ask for a copy of personal data held about you and the relevant use or disclosure information.
- Correction: identify the exact field or statement that is inaccurate and provide the replacement.
- Deletion: identify the data you want removed and explain which contact route it came through.
- Consent choice: tell us if you want a stored consent preference changed. Advertising storage remains subject to the site's visible controls.
We may need to ask for information that reasonably confirms the request belongs to you. That check protects the person making the request and other people whose details may appear in a record. Do not attach a driver's licence, passport, Social Security number, or other sensitive identity document unless we specifically explain a safer route.
How we check and respond
We review the request, search the relevant systems, and contact you if the scope is unclear or the identity check is not enough. A request can cover information held in inquiry records, chat messages, email correspondence, consent records, and advertising or analytics records associated with the site. It does not create a right to receive another person's information, internal security material, or confidential business correspondence.
Some records may be retained where a legal obligation, fraud prevention need, security requirement, or unresolved dispute requires it. If deletion cannot be completed for one of those reasons, we explain the reason and limit the remaining use. Correction does not mean rewriting a historical message or changing a record of what was submitted.
We reply to the email address supplied in the request or use another contact method already associated with the inquiry when that is safer. Keep your request narrow. A precise request is easier to verify and less likely to expose unrelated correspondence.
Advertising identifiers and consent
KZOO Studio receives traffic from Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and Meta Ads. The site can process the click identifiers gclid, msclkid, and fbclid with an advertising visit. Consent Mode v2 holds ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, and analytics_storage denied until you allow storage. When you decline, those settings return to denied.
A request about these records should name the platform or identifier if you know it and include the landing page or approximate visit time. The platform's own processing also applies. Microsoft publishes its privacy statement; Google and Meta publish their own privacy information. KZOO Studio does not claim that any platform has reviewed or approved this site.
What happens to an inquiry form
Information sent through an inquiry form is used to understand the requested scope and reply. The form asks for contact information and project context because a useful response needs more than a name. The same data request rights apply to those details. The studio does not turn an inquiry into a purchase, checkout, payment record, or binding quote.
Chat requests are sent to cuce739.php and may be associated with a conversation token stored in your browser's local storage so the conversation can continue. A request to delete chat information should identify the name or email used when the chat began. If you decline storage, advertising and analytics storage remain denied; the page remains available.
What we do not need
Do not send a full customer list, unrelated correspondence, passwords, bank details, health information, or confidential material belonging to someone else. This studio provides branding, compact websites, and brand copy for local businesses. It does not need sensitive personal documents to locate a normal inquiry.
If the request concerns a business contact address, distinguish the business information from personal information where you can. We may need to retain a business contact record while work is being discussed, but we still review a clear correction or deletion request rather than ignoring it.
Tell us what should be found or changed.
Use the form for access, correction, deletion, or a consent-record question. We use the details to handle this request and reply to you.
